May 14-18, 2024 | Orlando, FL |
The Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) invites you to submit an abstract for consideration to be presented as a poster at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida, May 14–18, 2024. This is your opportunity to share your cutting-edge research with the best-in-class audience of experts in the field.
Posters will be on display during all poster hall hours and on multimedia screens. ePosters will also be available to view in the mobile app.
Late-breaking abstracts (LBAs) recognize novel, critically important research developments that occur during the lead-up to SAWC Spring. LBA submission is solely for abstracts with late-breaking data and not for abstracts submitted “late”. The late-breaking abstract deadline is not intended to be an extension of the general submission deadline. Late-breaking abstracts highlight novel and practice-changing studies, and only apply to data that would have not otherwise have been presented as an abstract at the SAWC Spring | WHS 2024 meeting.
Four abstracts will be showcased during the "Late Breaking Abstracts: Bringing New Evidence to Light," session taking place Saturday, May 18th. Submit your late-breaking abstract by March 20, 2024.
A late-breaking abstract should contain new information. It may comprise:
If a late-breaking abstract is not accepted, it will not be published or presented at the meeting. There is no longer an option for it to be considered as a regular abstract.

SAWC requires proof of preregistration for all accepted abstract presenters. After registering, it is the designated primary contact’s responsibility to indicate their intent to present through the abstract portal, as outlined in acceptance email, by providing the badge number of the registered representative. The badge number can be found on your registration confirmation. Instructions on this process will be included in your acceptance email. Even though you may be registered for SAWC, intent to present must still be submitted. If the intent to present is not submitted by the date included in your acceptance email, the abstract will be withdrawn.
